Smells
Not being sucked into their branding at all, we desribed this as "100% farm", cow dung on Machir beach, the Jorvik Centre and dungy. Coffee at first, then 'ghost vinegar', broken birch twigs and nail polish remover. Creamy too: custard, ice cream, banana and 'curdled something'. There were some unusual nosing techniques attempted here (giving the unusual category of 'taste on the eye', conclusion: sting-y), and someone said "the biggest fucking joke in the whisky club", we're virtually "100% farm" sure this wasn't meant negatively towards the nose, but who knows..
Tastes
We kept up the appropriate marketing theme here: the flavour of fields, farmy claaaasic Kilchoman taste, sterilised dairy equipment (in a good way, not like if it was a BDSM safety word), barley-y (barley sugar), dungy again and an elephant zoo pen. It was distinctively unsweet, a seaside bloodbath with fruit cake, cloves and cinnamon. Creamy, salt and oranges.

The whisky game included a 'pin the pin-tail on the donkey-distillery' game..
Finish & Comments
That orange in the taste is now tamed, eternal and Eternal (you know, the 90s girl group). A bit sting-y, sweetening and toffeeing.

50th Meetday Whisky Challenge!

3 teams attemped to win points (AND prizes!) in a variety of challenges and trivia. The teams of 'Jamelia' (Jamie, Liz & Ali), 'Foxy Sheila' (Giles, Hamish & Shelley) and 'The Bungling Bustards' fought it out over a few tough rounds, with The Bungling Bustards eventually emerging on top, taking home the booty.
Cost
~£55 (70cl)
