Will's premier hosting and somewhat of a premier cru of an evening: two sweet wine cask finishes and a whole lotta beef sandwiches, and no shortage of love.

Smells

With your head stuck in a beehive you catch the whiff of the silage outside, sounds like this could be the start of a Police investigation! The scent is of citrus fruits, apples, toffee & vanilla and honey donâ€™t forget the honey.

Tastes

Winey and sweet, the Nectar Dâ€™Ã²r tastes of sherry (actual sherry) or perhaps a ChÃ¢teau d'Yquem. Gob-stopping sweetness; Cherry Coke, cream soda and apricot jam but with the sour ending of the last sugary key lurking at the bottom of a packet of Tangfastics. Hints of peppercorns and rocket with the slight saltiness akin to a mermaid's tear (or was that just a taste of le sandwich au boeuf?)

Being one of the finest sweet wines, there are plenty of delicious casks to use..

Finish & Comments

Medium to long, The sweetness and pepper linger. The best descriptor has to 'bee': aniseed balls!
