Meet Deets
Meet #88 | 12/08/17 | Hosted by Whisky Fringe
It was Whisky Fringe 2017 and we did our best to get out and sample a couple of whiskies together, but it was hard this year to find enough to go round the whole group!

Smells
Watery. Delicious - butterscotch. Sweet raisins. Peppery. Alcohol-y smell, sharp. Festering Scottish swamp. Bit sickly, but some sort of tropical fruit - maybe papaya. Being face down on a lawn.
Tastes
Cucumber water. Virtually nothing. Wee banana sweets but not like banana, bitter almonds. Nice, slightly salty. Salami. Light, tingly (not in a nice way). Tropical, but not quite made it there. Not tropical at all: buttery. Ephemera, plasticine. Parma violets.
Finishes
Lemonade. No finish whatsoever. Finish redeems it: salty, sweet & winey. Banana-y, foosty. Buttery & fatty, mouth-coating. Lavender or some shit. Van Nistelrooy's goal, 3 yards out.
